Let Paidu tell you what is photovoltaic cable?

2024-11-01

Photovoltaic cables refer to cables used for power transmission in the DC side circuit of a solar photovoltaic power station system. They have excellent physical properties such as resistance to high and low temperatures, UV radiation, water resistance, salt spray resistance, weak acid and alkali resistance, aging resistance, and flame retardancy. Photovoltaic cables are also photovoltaic-specific cables, and common models include PV1-F and H1Z2Z2-K.

Photovoltaic Cable

Photovoltaic cables are often exposed to sunlight, and solar energy systems are often used in harsh environmental conditions such as high temperatures and UV radiation. In Europe, sunny days will cause the on-site temperature of solar energy systems to reach 100°C.

Photovoltaic cables are a composite material cable installed on solar cell modules. It consists of an insulating material covering two operating forms (i.e., single-core and double-core) of galvanized steel wire. It can be used to transport electrical energy in solar cell circuits, which allows photovoltaic cells to provide the necessary energy support for power systems.
